It turns out it's perfectly thought : he plays exactly the same notes and the same rhythm on the live version ! But guess what ? It's in 5/8 !īy comparing with this live version I realised that that piece was ENTIRELY written ! At first look, I thought that the part starting at measure 130 was an improvisation, and I thought that the 4/8 measures he plays sometimes were “mistakes”.
